I’m Ollie Griffiths from South Wales. I’ve been a professional rugby player for over 10 years, representing Wales internationally and playing for Dragons RFC.
Alongside my rugby career, I’ve pursued my passion for health and fitness, becoming a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer. Fitness and training has been a huge part of my life.

In 2024, I received a diagnosis that would change my perspective on a lot of things—a tumor on my spine. Initially, we feared the worst and prepared for it, but after a biopsy and surgery, it was confirmed to be an extremely rare form of cancer that was less aggressive than anticipated, with a generally positive prognosis. I’m currently undergoing treatment, and the outlook is positive.
The reason I'm sharing this is that It was a quick reminder of how quickly health can become fragile and how we often take it for granted. Training had always been my outlet, a way to switch off and stay mentally strong through difficult times, but this diagnosis reinforced just how powerful fitness could be, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.
